Ascot Group (Holdings) Ltd

The Ascot Group is Andrew’s core business group including Purplex Marketing, Insight Data and Ascot Property Management, with nearly 100 employees.

Business Leader Ltd

Britain’s leading media and events company for entrepreneurs, including the national Scale-Up Awards and Go:Tech Awards. Majority sold in 2023 to tycoon Richard Harpin.

Purplex Marketing Ltd

Launched by Andrew in 2004 from his dining room table, Purplex is now an award winning full-service digital, creative and PR agency with clients across the world.

Insight Data Ltd

The Group’s market intelligence business, combining in-depth business data with a proprietary database and CRM platform, Salestracker, Insight Data has 850 clients world-wide.

Knightstone Capital Ltd

Andrew’s private equity investment arm that provides funding and business support to ambitious entrepreneurs, including marketing support and mentoring from Andrew.

Glazing Summit

Part of the Ascot Group’s events and conference portfolio, this prestigious conference attracts over 500 CEOs with a combined turnover of over £10bn. Sold to Mark Allen Group in 2023.

Building Products Magazine

Established in 1973 and once owned by media tycoon Robert Maxwell, Building Products Magazine was acquired by Andrew Scott in 2020 during the Covid pandemic.

Ascot Property Management

APM is the Group’s commercial property business, having acquired several prestigious office sites with world-class facilities leased by existing and new Ascot Group companies.

Knightstone Property Management

Andrew’s residential property development business, acquiring sites for redevelopment into high quality apartments and homes for rental and serviced accommodation.

Purplex International Ltd

This is a new joint venture with Andrew and several international partners, including the Beijing University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) in China.

Launched by a PhD physicist and a PhD chemist, Anaphite uses graphene and proprietary technology to enhance Li-ion battery performance, speed charging and reduce cost.

Rovco

Rovco is a world leading high-tech offshore wind business, with novel perception, data and autonomy technology to bring the offshore industry into the 21st century.

Payaca

With a 6-figure investment from Andrew, Payaca is a desktop and App-based CRM platform for ambitious field services businesses, with a tailored solution for industries.

Augmented Reality Creations (ARC)

With significant investment from Andrew, three computer science graduates from Exeter University are developing a range of solutions incorporating AR.

Sustainium Group

Andrew was approached to back an entrepreneur with a buy-and-build plan in the home improvement sector. Following two acquisitions, Andrew exited the venture in 2022.
